Oppo launched the selfie-focused F1s smartphone in August this month. The company priced it at Rs. 17,990, and made it available on Amazon India online and all major retail outlets online. Now, the Chinese smartphone company has launched an upgraded variant of the Oppo F1s with increased RAM and internal storage capacity, and has priced it at Rs. 18,990.
For just Rs. 1,000 more, Oppo F1s thewill now be available in 4GB RAM and 64GB storage bundle as well. It will be in stock by the end of November exclusively via offline stores, and become available via Amazon India from December. Earlier, the Oppo F1s was only made available in 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage bundle.All of the other specifications of the Oppo F1s remain the same. The big highlight is the 16-megapixel front-facing camera with a 1/3.1-inch sensor and f/2.0 aperture. Other selfie-focused features on the smartphone include its Beautify 4.0 app for selfie editing, the Selfie Panorama feature that stitches together three selfies, and the Screen Flash feature.
The Oppo F1s bears a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF autofocus, an f/2.2 aperture, and dual-LED flash. The smartphone comes with an expandable storage option as well via a separate microSD card slot (up to 128GB). Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB OTG, GPS, and Bluetooth v4.0. The smartphone is powered by a 3075mAh battery, measures 154.5x76x7.38mm, and weighs 160 grams. Sensors on board include proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, and digital compass.
The smartphone also sports a fingerprint sensor on the home button, and Oppo claims it unlocks the F1s in as little as 0.22 seconds. The company is also touting the fingerprint sensor based shortcuts on the Oppo F1s for making voice calls and launching apps.
